Inspired by the home’s original 1960’s bones and the client’s desire for a clean, modern update, the concept centered on a Mid-Century Modern aesthetic - streamlined forms, warm wood tones, and functional design choices. The goal was to bring the home into the present while honoring it’s past.

My approach focused on creating a strong connection between zones, ensuring the kitchen felt open and inviting, without compromising storage or workflow. Natural materials, matte finishes and subtle pattern were used to reflect the ‘classic with a twist’ identity - warm, livable and never too trendy,
